How To: Refund Phone & Video Calls

Models now have the ability to refund phone and video calls (with a few limitations). The intention of this new feature is to make it easier for eager users to quickly call back a model if the technology got in the way of a good time. If a model already has a user on the line and the call suddenly drops, chances are that user doesn’t want to wait for support to review the call to get their credits back or go looking for someone else to call. In most cases, they’d rather immediately try to reconnect with the same model but they may be short on credits from a failed call.

When to Refund

Models should consider refunding calls when a call does not connect properly (e.g. audio/video broadcasting issues) or if the call quality was poor throughout the call—even if both parties seemed to have decent connections during the pre-call confirmation screen.

At this time, models can choose to issue a full refund or no refund at all. Partial refunds are not yet an option but will be included in a future release.

Models are not required to issue refunds; users can still write in to support to request a refund if they choose and the SextPanther support team will look into the call logs to determine whether a refund is warranted.

NOTE: You don’t need to tell users you have the ability to issue refunds. You can simply say something such as, “Let me see if I can get the support team to refund your call,” or “I’ll make sure this doesn’t eat up all your credits,” and then quietly issue the refund.

How to Refund (Web Only)

Option 1

After the call ends, the model can rate the call as 👎 to trigger the refund option pop-up.

If the model rates the call with as 👎, the model can submit feedback (as is already the case) or skip. Then they’ll be taken to a new screen that allows them to refund the call so that the user can call again.

NOTE: The refund option does not appear on the user’s screen even if they rate the call negatively.

Option 2

You can refund the call directly from the message screen. In your chat with the individual user, the call time will show up as a chat bubble. Within 60 minutes of the call, the refund icon will appear attached to that call info. Just click the icon to initiate the refund.

Option 3

You can also refund a call by going to the “Calls” page within 60 minutes of the call ending and clicking the refund icon.
