How To: Refund Tips

Models now have the ability to refund tips. The intention of this new feature is to give models a tool to support them in managing their relationships with users.

When to Refund

Models should consider refunding a tip when they can no longer make a custom they agreed to or deliver it by the time they said they would. In either of these situations, the model can ask the user if they would accept substitute content for the price they already paid or an extended delivery deadline. If the user declines—which is a valid decision—the model can give a refund.

Another reason a model might refund a tip is if the user tips for an add-on before a call, such as a Lovense vibe control link, but the model can no longer incorporate the add-on into the call. In the Lovense example, perhaps the link doesn’t work for some reason. Like in the example above, the model can suggest an alternative before resorting to a refund.

Models are not required to issue refunds; users can still write in to support to request a refund if they choose and the SextPanther support team will look into the message logs to determine whether a refund is warranted.

NOTE: You don’t need to tell users you have the ability to issue refunds. You can simply say something such as, “Let me see if I can get the support team to refund your account,” and then quietly issue the refund.

How to Refund (Web Only)

  1. Navigate to the Tip tab in the left sidebar.

  2. Find the tip to refund and select the refund icon to the right of the tip amount.

    • If the tip is Incomplete (i.e., the box is not checked), the icon will be white and clickable.

    • If the tip is mistakenly already marked Complete (i.e., the box is checked), the icon is grayed out and not clickable. You’ll need to uncheck the box to be able to refund the tip.

  3. When the refund confirmation message appears, select “Refund $X.00.” (Or “No refund” if you made a mistake.)

NOTE: Models can only refund tips within the same pay period they received them.
