👀 Blurred Profile Posts for Site Visitors
Now when a user visits a model’s profile, all feed posts—including free ones—are blurred until they log in to their existing account or create a new one. This change is one step (more to come!) toward converting visitors into spending users 🤑 Visitors must submit an email address to create an account, which gives SextPanther a way to reach them for marketing and promo.
🤹 Upload Queue Added to App
Coming soon, the upload queue you’ve seen in the browser will also come to the app! If you missed the browser update announcement, this means that you can begin uploading media and then work on other tasks on the app while the upload continues in the background. Multitasking for the win!
🔞⚖️ Upcoming Changes to Model Profiles
If you follow adult industry news, you’re likely well aware of the recent wave of anti-porn legislation advancing across state legislatures in the US. As a measure to help protect SextPanther and simultaneously encourage users to purchase locked content, models will no longer be permitted to include nudity in their main profile picture, profile gallery pictures, or profile intro video. Feed posts may continue to include nudity at this time, though models should consider whether free nudes encourage users to spend.
Models must remove all nudity in public facing profiles by April 8, 2024. You will receive an additional email next week detailing this change.
🤑 Tip of the Month: Expand Your Vocabulary
Whether you’re dipping your toes into a new kink or you want to spice up your routine language, try the following exercises to add some variety to your conversations and increase your kink-fluency.
Brain Dump 🧠📝
First, pick a kink to focus on. Then, set a timer for three minutes. Once you start the timer, jot down all the words and phrases related to the kink that come to mind—even if they sound ridiculous to you. Do not stop! Use the full three minutes. When three minutes are over, review your list and mark everything you could use. You might further organize your list, for example by type of humiliation, such as penis size or sexual ability. Keep your list visible while you’re working. When you take notes on a client, include the specific words and phrases that really revved their engine.
Word Cloud ☁️
First, pick a kink to focus on. In the middle of a piece of paper, write one noun related to the kink. Then, think of adjectives to describe the noun, and write those in one corner. Next, brainstorm verbs for actions that the noun could do or that could be done to the noun. Write these in another corner. In a third corner, list adverbs that describe how the actions happen. In the last corner, add synonyms and nouns related to the central noun. Finally, write or speak sentences using the central noun and at least one adjective, verb, and adverb. Start to include more details in each sentence or string sentences together. Use your best lines with clients!
🙋 FSC Banking Survey
You may know that SextPanther is a sponsor of the Free Speech Coalition (FSC), whose mission is to protect the rights and freedoms of people in the adult industry.
One of the issues they work on is financial discrimination. FSC is currently exploring a new response to help adult industry workers—creating a federal credit union by us and for us!
To be granted a charter, they're required to survey prospective credit union members and show that there’s enough support to make the project a success.
