Likes & Impressions—Explained
Every time you post to your profile feed and Explore, the goal is to prompt engagement. You want to attract attention not only from your existing contacts but also from users new to you and site visitors who haven’t created an account yet. (Read more here about crafting posts for your profile and the Explore feed.)
Likes
👍 The more likes you get within 24 hours, the higher up you’ll appear on the Popular page of the Explore feed. Like Trending, the Popular page refreshes every 30 minutes and is ordered by most likes first. Appearing on the Trending page increases your impressions and therefore increases the likelihood that users who haven’t added you yet will discover you and add you as a contact.
How do you get more likes? You might be tempted to post full nudes or something more explicit, thinking that users will hit that like button. This isn’t a great long-term strategy. You might get a few more adds, but listen to TLC—you don’t want no scrubs. The more you give away for free, the less willing users are to pay to engage with you and unlock other explicit content. If you want to post explicit content, censor it to make them curious enough to pay you to get the rest of it. Be a racy tease, but make them spend for the goods!
Focus on posting something eye-catching, high quality, and not overly filtered content. Peruse the Popular page for inspiration but instead of straight up copying what’s popular, make it your own. Highlight your assets, play into a kink, keep it fresh, and include a CTA (call-to-action) or question to spark a conversation in your caption. For example, if you use the fetish tag big tits, you might post a pic in your skimpiest top, almost giving them everything they want but making them spend to get it all.
Impressions
👀 The impressions number shows how many users have seen your post. Generally speaking, the more likes you have, the more impressions you’ll get. Your impressions numbers, along with your likes numbers, shows what your most popular content is. Analyze your data from previous posts on your Model Dashboard “Feed” page and do more of what’s working for you.
