Harness Site Features: Top Spenders Report

What It Is

The Top Spenders report is a searchable list of all your users over time and how much you’ve earned from each user in each spending category (e.g., texts, video calls, tips).

Where to Find It

From your Model Dashboard on the mobile or desktop browser, navigate in the left sidebar to Reports and select “Top Spenders.” As an administrative tool, this report is not available on the TextPanther app.

Tip: If you’re viewing the Top Spenders report on the mobile browser, rotate your phone to landscape to reveal all the spending categories. Scroll to the right to view all.

How to Navigate It

The default sort lists users in order of the user you’ve earned the most from overall to the least. Each row is a different user and each column is a different spending category. The column labeled Total shows you how much you’ve earned from each user. This is the same number you see in the right sidebar of your direct message with each user (only on the browser).

The search bar allows you to search for specific users. If you see a username that begins with the word “User” followed by a string of numbers, that means the user has deleted their account.

You can also narrow the timeframe of your search by selecting from a dropdown menu of these options: All Time, This Year, Last 6 Months, Last 90 Days, Last 30 Days, and Last 7 Days.

The spending categories align with the categories you see when you view your earnings data. To be clear, the Pictures and Videos column refer to media the user bought in a direct message with you. Earnings from feed post unlocks are a separate category.

You can click or tap each spending category (column title) to sort the table in order of top spenders according to the category. If you click or tap the same column title again, the order reverses, and you can see at the top who you’ve earned the least from.

When you click or tap the send icon at the far right of the table, you’ll be taken to your direct message screen with that particular user. If the user has deleted their account, you’ll be taken to  your default message screen.

Why It’s Helpful

You can use this report in several ways to help you improve your engagement and maximize your earnings.

Analyze Your Top Spenders’ Habits

Use this report to understand exactly how each of your users spends their money on you, and then target your engagement accordingly. Here are some examples.

If your top spenders shell out for video calls, make sure you message them every time you’re available for video calls. If your calls aren’t on but you see one online, message them and say you’ll turn on your cam as a special treat for them 😉

Maybe an old user has resurfaced, and you can’t remember if they tend to unlock your feed posts. Use the search bar in the report to find the user and see how much you’ve earned from them unlocking your feed posts. If the earnings indicate more than a couple of unlocks, point them to anything new on your feed they may not have unlocked yet. Cha-ching!

Analyze Spending Categories

You can also view the users who you’ve earned the most from for each category. For example, tap on the word “Audio” once to sort the list by users who are your top spenders for audio unlocks. If you see a user who has been quiet for a bit, for example, tap the send icon to take you directly to your messages with them. Make a new audio clip to remind them of your voice, and send a follow-up message saying something like, “Miss me?” You can send this even if they’re not online—they’ll see it when they come back!

As another example, maybe you’re unable to take video calls, but your phone lines are on. Tap on “Phone Calls'' to find the users who have called you before, and reach out to each of them directly to get them on the horn.

You might send a mass message to your users letting them know that the highest tipper in the next week will receive a special gift from you. Then a week from that message, you can go into your Top Spenders report, narrow the time frame to Last 7 Days and then sort by Tips to find your highest tippers.

There are so many different ways to use this report—play around and find what works for you!
