✨ Site Updates: Looking Ahead
Busy in the background, the developers have been working on a major upgrade to the platform’s backend architecture to help with site speed, stability, and security. This improvement will also allow us to move forward with two significant changes in the near future:
New Video Call Platform: While adding one-to-one video calling was a game changer for SextPanther models, we know that the existing video platform has not provided the consistently smooth experience we expected. Migrating to a new enterprise-level video call platform will fix a lot of the performance issues we’ve encountered and will allow us to build more features around video calls to make for a better experience for both users and models.
New TextPanther App Architecture: With this upgrade, the developers will be able to push updates quicker across both iOS and Android at the same time.
The next big feature update will be the hotly anticipated Media Vault!
🤑 Tip of the Month:
Balancing Visibility & Scarcity
You want to be at the top of users’ minds when they come to SP so that they’re more likely to contact you to fulfill their, ahem, needs. But! You also want to make yourself seem scarce so that users beg for more.
How can you simultaneously make yourself visible and scarce?
Visibility
Greet new users; don’t wait for them to say hello to you. If they’re ready to bust, you might have caught them first.
Engage existing users; don’t let them forget that you’re around, even if you chatted yesterday. But! See the Scarcity section below.
Regularly post to Explore (max once an hour). Users have a curated feed of the models they’ve added, so when you post something new, they see it at or toward the top of their home dashboard. But! See the Scarcity section below.
Promote yourself on social media and point users to your SP profile.
Scarcity
Consider deleting older feed posts to keep your free posts limited. When users chat with you, they can easily tab over in their messages screen and scroll through your entire feed. Even if your feed isn’t explicit, you don’t want users lost in the scroll, getting all they need without engaging you.
Use nudity carefully. Though you can post nudity in the feed (not profile pictures), consider how free nudity may work against you in the long term when users decline to buy what you have given away for free.
Though keeping in touch with your users is good, overwhelming them with constant messages throughout the day is not. Think flirty and mysterious rather than needy and desperate.
🧼 Cleaning & Storing Your Toys
Listen, we pay good money for our sex toys and it’s important they go the distance with us! Especially if we use them regularly, share them with others, or simply want to keep ourselves safe.
Keeping Toys Clean
Wash your toys before and after you play! You can easily wash most toys with warm water and a mild, unscented soap or toy cleaner. Dry them with a lint-free towel to keep any moisture from hiding in crevices.
If your toy is waterproof, you can fully submerge it in water for easier cleaning!
Is the toy fully silicone, metal, or glass? You can put these materials in the dishwasher on the sanitize setting for extra cleaning or put them in boiling water for 5 minutes on the stove.
Properly Storing Toys
Lint-free storage bags are perfect for any sex toy material. Always keep leather and TPE/TPR (i.e., jelly, rubber, real feel) toys away from each other and plastic storage containers or bags.
Body-safe sex toy materials (i.e., silicone, glass, metal) can be stored with each other in a plastic container or in a drawer without worry of melting or discoloration.
Store toys in a colder, drier area, away from intense heat.
Keeping your sex toys clean and properly stored ensures you remain healthy and safe—your body (and toys) will thank you!

As workers in the adult industry, we know politicians of all stripes tend to sideline issues important to us and push agendas that hinder our ability to earn money safely.
