Build Your Profile: Profile Pictures

“Two things remain irretrievable: time and a first impression” — Cynthia Ozick, American writer
Your profile is the primary place for you to introduce yourself to potential clients. Though you may pick up new clients from a post to the Explore page or directly from your socials, your profile is where you set yourself apart with your photos, video, bio, and tags.
Profile Pictures
You have one main profile picture. This is the one users see in the little circle when they browse the various pages on the site—Online Now, Phone Sex, Video Calls, Top Models, Trending, and New Models. This picture is also the first one users see when they navigate to your profile.
For this main picture, choose something recent and eye-catching. Bright photos with color attract the eye. Use a clear, high-resolution photo that’s racy but not nude. Don’t give it away for free! You’ll want to highlight your best assets, and if you show your face too, even better (but not required). Remember that you want a photo that works well framed in both a circle and a square. Note that nudity is not allowed in profile pictures.*
You then have an additional five slots for highlighted profile pictures. Clients can click through these following your main picture. Since these photos appear only in your profile, you don’t need to worry about what looks good in a circle frame. You can use these additional slots to show yourself off in different poses, outfits, scenes, etc. You want your collection of profile pictures to give an accurate and alluring sense of who you are and what the client can expect to see from you.
For all photos, do not use anything low-res or heavily filtered. (We’re looking at you, Snapchat and FaceTune.) Low quality photos devalue your profile and drive away potential customers. Filtered photos cause a discontinuity in the client’s experience. If what they see in your profile doesn’t match the media you send or what you look like in a vid chat, they’re far less likely to stick around, which is bad for your business. You benefit most from building a consistent and returning client base.
